Can this cooker be used for rice cooker recipes? Not just rice, but rice with veggies, etc? If so, how?
Yes it can. For all sorts of rice. These pressure cookers do not have limits when it comes to that.
You can find plenty of recipes online. There are hundreds of them because you can really prepare anything you imagine in a cooker. Just do a Google search and you will find them easily.
Comparing the Electric Nesco to the Electric CuisineArt, which product would you go with?
I have one of these. It's the closest thing to magic in my kitchen. Makes perfect rice in 8 minutes and tenderizes the raunchiest stew meat in 13.
WHEN IN THE STEAM MODE, MY PRESSURE COOKER KEEPS BEEPING AFTER A FEW MINUTES. IT WILL BEEP FOR ABOUT A MINUTE THEN STOP, THEN START IN AGAIN. WHY DOES IT DO THIS? NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW THE ANSWER

Can this 6 quart cooker do canning? I want ot have apressure cooker for cannign our garde goodies but I can't find anything that says yes or no
